Baylie was a such a good girl, so smart, loving, and the best companion anyone could ask for.
So, many memories of her running around the back yard, changing direction without warning, & ears pulled back from the speed. She used to jump from the bed to the window seat and look out the window until one day she jumped off my desk and broke a leg. She never jumped again after that. Later, I learned she was diabetic and I had to give her insulin twice a day. She did very well for years, but gradually started losing her sight and went completely blind last year. She was tough and learned her way around, which totally amazed me. As time went on she started losing a lot of weight, limping, getting kidney infections, urinary track infections, periodontal infections all caused by the diabetes and age. She wasn’t quick 11 when I could not stand to see her suffer anymore. It was the hardest most emotional decision of my life, as I loved my Baylei with all my heart. Rest in peace Baylei and Mommy will see you in heaven again before you know it. Many many thanks to Home to Heaven for the empathy and kindness the provided during such a difficult time.
